Bernard Bieling

Bieling has been working as a free artist for more than 20 years. He has studied Art and Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel, Germany (Bachelor of Arts, B.A.). Acrylic paintings, collages and assemblages are his preferred techniques.

Influences: Robert Rauschenberg, Pablo Picasso, Sigmar Polke, Antoni Tapies and Andy Warhol. The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Jack DeJohnette, John Coltrane...... Ingrid Bergmann, Clint Eastwood, Lucky Luke, Yana......

When I start a painting I usually don't know where it ends. Just an idea existing here. On the principle of "Let it grow"! A gut instinct's driving me. So......... stay curious!
