Après une formation lyonnaise en aquarelle, son besoin de sculpter est apparu comme une évidence. Donner vie à un bloc de pierre, oser créer, se libérer des préjugés telle est sa révélation.
La diversité de ses oeuvres est inspirée par la stéatite brute qui lui dicte une conduite à tenir tout en laissant place à son imagination Certaines sculptures sont spontanées, immédiates, d'autres naissent plus laborieusement ou changent radicalement au cours de la taille.
Ses doigts s'harmonisent à cette roche douce et, d'instinct, modèlent, façonnent puis caressent l'oeuvre achevée.
