Artkora is an independent online gallery showcasing the artworks of contemporary West African artists. The initiative, currently based in Lagos, emerges out of the passion to document the exciting and diverse creativity of artists in the up and coming art scene in Nigeria. Artkora is driven by the necessity to provide artists with the opportunity to display their work in a platform that is connected to an international art market. With a thriving art scene, and a growth in demand, Artkora provides a much-needed podium for the creative output of undocumented artists who wish to reach a wide audience. Artkora collaborates with artists to promote a rich collection of work that is accessible to art enthusiasts, collectors, and international galleries. We believe in artistic freedom and advocate for the exposure of talented artists who will enrich our growing collection of original artworks. All artists represented by the gallery maintain full control of their work while Artkora fosters cross-cultural dialogue to sell and promote the artworks on display.
