Glossy finish

Inspired by Basque houses, Saint-Jean-de-Luz is part of a series of 3 paintings which uses the codes and colors of the facades of these magnificent houses in southwestern France. Particular work has been done on the textures to assert a worn appearance and tell the story of these old houses with their multiple layers of paint that the sea air comes to caress.

I express myself through the abstract, street art, figurative and even modeling. It is the project that decides the nature of my expression. I don't decide, I let myself be carried away by desire to keep the first idea as virgin as possible, so as not to distort it.
My art is contemporary, raw, sometimes wild and texture is omnipresent because I like to take the viewer into an area that I would define as 'visually tactile'.
