Bees live in a strictly organized structure in which each bee performs specific duties and occupies a specific cell. Honeycomb is a marvel
of precision engineering, with many prismatic cells with a perfectly hexagonal cross-section. The wax walls are of a very precise thickness,
the cells are slightly tilted from the horizontal to prevent honey from flowing out, and the entire honeycomb is aligned with the Earth's
magnetic field.
However, this structure is created without any plan or foresight, with many bees working at the same time and somehow coordinating
their efforts to avoid mismatched cells. Thus, we see how similar is the hierarchy of the hive and society.

Arina Apostolova is a contemporary Ukrainian painter whose artistic journey began after her graduation from an architectural academy in 2007. During her studies, she acquired skills in academic drawing and basic painting techniques, gaining a solid foundation in color theory, perspective, and composition.

Arina's professional art career started relatively recently with the large-scale project “Sacred Geometry,” which was successfully exhibited by the UNION-architect studio in Shanghai in April 2021. Her work primarily involves exploring acrylic colors on canvases of various sizes. She refers to her style as "Composite Realism," a genre that combines intense realism with abstract patterns, surrealistic dream-like scenes, and symbolic imagery. This approach allows her to weave together complex concepts such as philosophy, the depths of the mind, creation theories, and scientific pursuits in a more accessible manner.

Since the end of 2021, Arina has expanded her artistic practice to include contemporary muralism, creating public art that integrates with community spaces and environments. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions in China, where her artworks are held in private collections.
