After the start of the war in Ukraine, I was forced for some time to go to a safer region of our country, to the Transcarpathian region. We were received there by very good people, to whom I am extremely grateful. This picture became a symbol of my return as an artist, because it is the first thing I paint after the war. It is a view from the window of the apartment where my family lived. When I ran away from home, I didn't take any paints or brushes with me. All I had was a pack of plasticine and ordinary watercolor paper. This painting is now one of my best memories from that period, it brought me back to life.
Using warm, gentle colors, I wanted to convey the beginning of spring, when the trees are still bare but the warmth and smell of flowers are already blowing everywhere.
Plasticine is a beautiful technique in its own way, you make each stroke with your finger. If you missed a color or shade, you can scrape off the top layer and reapply. Drawing with plasticine is a special process. Tactile and meditative.
This picture is framed under glass, because plasticine is a material that is better to protect from dust.

In my art I try to find interesting color and shape solutions. I believe that the main essence of artistic works lies in the harmony of abstract spots, which can be developed into something more concrete and figurative. After all, the artist has only a second to interest the viewer.
I often making an abstract sketch, and already in it looking for something concrete. Beauty and aesthetic value to be my main priority. Sometimes is necessary to sacrifice veracity for the sake of aesthetics. I believe that this is the main meaning of the artist's work.
Art is an international language. Art brings people together, because it is all about emotion. We live in different countries, speak different languages, but experience the same feelings. My dream is to people to look at my paintings and remember the pleasant emotions that each of us has in our heart
