Fashion (2020) Peinture par Anna Belan

Anna Belan is a professional artist and illustrator. She currently lives and works in Moscow.
Graduated from the Moscow Art School of Applied Arts, textile design department, specializing in textile design. Afterwards she graduated from the theater production department of the Academy of Theater Arts with a degree in costume design. During her studies, she interned in England and participated in a project at the World Exhibition of Scenography and Theater Architecture “Prague Quadrennial”. After completing her studies, she worked for several years as a costume designer on theater and film projects. At the moment, Anna is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia andis engaged in exhibition activities.

In her work, Anna explores connections with the world: nature, animals and people. She finds interesting stories. As a rule, these are stories close to her, based on some kind of narrative, not tied to a specific time or place. Following this theme, a feature of her work is the costume of the character, to which she pays great attention, inspired by the history of fashion. 

She took part in Russian and international exhibitions, joint and personal projects. Works are in private collections in Russia, France, Austria and Germany.
