Andrey Zhokhov is a contemporary Russian artist. The artist's painting reflects not so much the visible universe as the invisible space that lies behind the layers of the outside world. Zhokhov's paintings can be imagined as a bold attempt to penetrate beyond the protective screen into the world of wires, hard drives and deeper into the sphere of electromagnetic impulses that create a familiar image on the screen, and even deeper into the area of significance of its creator. The artist reveals to us the veil of external reality.

Andrey Zhokhov was born in 1966, in Russia. He lives and works in Cyprus. Zhokhov exhibited his paintings in the USA, Denmark, Finland, Japan and Russia.
