Behold "Cross," a wooden sculpture that stands as a testament to the enduring power of classic artistry. Crafted in Kharkiv, Ukraine, back in 2005, this masterpiece pays homage to timeless forms and eternal stories.
Carved from the noble poplar tree, "Cross" embodies classical elegance and a profound Biblical narrative. Its form is as classic as they come, presenting a traditional depiction of the cross, a symbol laden with historical and spiritual significance. What sets this sculpture apart is its versatility - it can be displayed in two versions. Placed vertically, it represents a steadfast symbol of faith, while when tilted, it invokes the poignant image of carrying the cross, a profound moment of sacrifice.
The creation of "Cross" was a labor of love, with the artist employing only the precision of a knife to shape this iconic representation. To preserve its timeless beauty and add a touch of refinement, "Cross" is adorned with a semi-gloss varnish, casting a gentle, enduring sheen over its every line and contour.
"Cross" is more than just a sculpture; it's a tribute to the enduring power of classic art, an emblem of faith, and a cherished addition to your collection. Whether you're a devotee of classical aesthetics or someone who appreciates the craftsmanship of finely carved woodwork, "Cross" promises to become a reverent centerpiece in your space.
Allow "Cross" to remind you of the eternal stories that have shaped our world and the enduring spirit of faith. Don't miss the opportunity to make this exceptional work of art your own. Acquire "Cross" today and let its classic charm infuse your surroundings with a sense of reverence and contemplation.

I've been immersed in the art of crafting wooden sculptures for as long as my memory reaches. However, when the storm of war descended upon Ukraine, sculpting became more than a passion; it became my refuge from the stress and relentless barrage of war-related news. It was during this tumultuous period that a revelation struck - I could leave behind the undesired trappings of conventional work and forge a livelihood out of doing what I truly love.
This realization brought about a fundamental shift in my perspective. While my creations had always been crafted with care for friends, family, and those dear to me, the idea of selling my works to a broader audience had never been a priority. Each piece, whether initially intended for a specific person as a talisman or created with a sense of patience, waited years or even decades to find its destined owner.
About half of my works have been brought into existence in the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, serving as both a testament to resilience and a means of processing the challenging times. Amidst ongoing creation, there are still sculptures in progress, capturing the evolving essence of my artistic journey.
Fortuitously, my art found a platform on Artmajeur, prompting me to join the ranks of artists worldwide. Now, I embark on this global artistic venture, sharing my wooden sculptures with the world, each piece carrying not just my craft but the unique story of survival and creativity born from adversity.
