The series of paintings “A la Rus!” is a symbolic reflection of the Russian soul through the contrast of black and color. The dark external environment symbolizes the asceticism of religion, political upheavals, difficult war years, difficult modern realities, as well as the harsh climate - all this formed the image of a Russian person as closed, sullen, secretive.
This is the outer shell, a mask, behind which a rich inner world is hidden. External restraint is not indifference, but rather the result of complex historical experience and adaptation to difficult living conditions.
However, bright, pulsating colors inside remind us of the deep kindness, generosity and warmth of the Russian soul. The paintings use traditional Russian symbols: matryoshka, bear and kokoshnik, samovar, cockerel, horse, hut.
They form a bridge between the outer and inner worlds, emphasizing that behind the harsh facade lies a multifaceted personality.
This concept reflects the contradictory nature of the Russian character, where under the outer shell hides a broad Russian soul, ready for sympathy, help, compassion and generosity. Биография
Анастасия Грик — современная российская художница. Она открыла для себя искусство интерьерной росписи в 2020 году, что вдохновило ее на дальнейшее развитие. Он превратился в сплав всех интересов Анастасии (живопись, дизайн, декорирование). Художница использует различные подходы, хотя обычно выбирает смешанный. Акрил, гипс, сусальное золото, спиртовые чернила, ткани и бумага являются основными материалами, используемыми в творческих начинаниях.
Анастасия Грик сочетает в себе элементы женственности, гармонии, естественности, радости жизни и воображения, черпая вдохновение в природе, музыке, кино и повседневной жизни. Объем и фактура — основные элементы, объединяющие большинство ее произведений искусства.
