self portrait (2022) Pittura da Aikaterine Rousake

I am an ex scientist with all the credentials ( bachelors on chemisty, masters in spectroscopy and phd in biophysics)  that switched careers from science  to art. I study online to get my diploma in art so I would call myself still a student . I currently  mostly do drawings in graphite or colored pencil and charcoal as I try to get very good with my drawing skills and then move to colors. I love oils and I aspire myself to become an oil artist. I also love portrait and figure drawings. I would like to be able to paint one day to a high level and compare myself to painters such as El Greco or Renoir as if I carry their souls in me.  I  hope you like my work. Please enjoy. KAT :-D
