ADELINA REYES IN WG KUNST KERST SALE !!! 2012
Marius van Bouwdijk Bastiaansestraat 28 Amsterdam
ADELINA REYES IN WG KUNST KERST SALE !!! 2024
€ 100 verkooptentoonstelling

NIEMANDSLAND EXPOSITION
Domselaerstraat 120 1093 MB
NIEMANDSLAND Exhibition
"Niemandsland" is a metaphor for an unused piece of land. What no one, including state land, belongs to everyone. On a common imaginary and disregulated plot is the work of several artists who use their own symbols and imported from the secular culture. Sometimes it is a matter of fascination or curiosity, or is it a journey into the depths of cultural symbols. It can be a survival mechanism, or reflecting on their own background or the revived or searching in the strange, to what we miss our own background.
No Man's Land shows a mix of styles and backgrounds to see, from abstract painting and ceramics to Spanish vivid images of the lives of women in Pakistan and traditional thatch weaving from Mexico. No Man's Land presents the work of seven artists from different parts of the world, Europe, Mexico and Pakistan. Their works differ in style, background and cultural symbolism. The organic blend them in this exhibition is a natural view of the magical life in Amsterdam, a beautiful and vibrant fusion of cultures and styles of parallel lives in the same area.
