За годы сотрудничества с издательствами проиллюстрировал более 60 книг различной тематики. Это приключенческая литература и сказки, лирическая поэзия и классическая проза, книги о природе и животном мире.
1997 год – Диплом I степени MIBF по номинации «Иллюстрации к детским книгам».
Почти все станковые работы Сергея посвящены любимой им с детства Бразилии, которая до сих пор является для него постоянным источником вдохновения.
