Yari Ostovany

Yari Ostovany, born in Iran in 1962, embarked on a transformative artistic journey that has taken him from his homeland to the United States, where he has established himself as a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene. At the age of 16, Ostovany relocated to the United States, where he embarked on his formal studies in art. He began his academic journey at the University of Nevada – Reno before furthering his education at the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in 1995.

Ostovany's artistic career has been marked by a dedication to exploring the intersection of culture, identity, and human experience. His diverse body of work spans a range of mediums and techniques, reflecting his multifaceted approach to artistic expression.
