Antonova Yana (1962)
She was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. From 1980 to 1987 studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, faculty of oil painting, restoration department. From 1987 to 1991 Yana worked as a fine art restorer in National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery".Since 1992 Yana has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Currently, she is teaching at Mikhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Applied Arts and Design. She is a participant in many international, all-Union, republican, regional exhibitions. He lives and works in Kyiv. The works are in private collections: Ukraine, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, USA.
With her individual painting style, she embodies in her work the combination of realistic elements of the image with the figurative - symbolic concept of the picture, complemented by a subtle sense of pictorial - plastic expressiveness.
