Bruno GAYRAUD (GARERO is his artist nickname) was born in Bourg en Bresse in Ain in 1959, a family of florists, horticulturists and a famous landscaper father who designed and created some of the most beautiful gardens in France: the Termes d'Eugénie les Bains, 10 of the greatest Châteaux of Bordeaux etc...
He follows a life journey rich in its variety: passionate about nature, cooking, sport and art , passed his sports coach diploma before entering the Military Cavalry Academy of Saumur, and exercised his command as an officer on the Berlin Wall during the Cold War in the late 1970s, he then toured the world during 11 years as G.O sport and entertainment at Club Med where he ended up as Village Chef.
He learned 6 languages and discovered cultures in South America which brought him even more artistic inspiration, particularly pre -Colombian where he became passionate about Mayan art. He returned to France and settled on the Côte d'Azur in Mandelieu in the Bay of Cannes to manage a hotel, where he began to sculpt masks in Mimosa essence, Cork oak and Olivier.
He had his first exhibition at the 1ST MEDITERRANEAN ARTS SALON where he met Paola PICASSO, the daughter of the famous painter, who encouraged him and motivated his creative spirit even more. br />
He then made a career as a manager in the PLANET FITNESS/LES MILLS group in France, a world leader in fitness, and discovered Maori culture thanks to several trips to the parent company based in New Zealand. He then began to sculpt Oceanic, pre-Columbian and African statuettes.
His passion for the sea then attracted him to driftwood which became a real revelation in 2015, and he then became passionate about lighting and decorations: one year (in 2019) he opened an associative premises, ARTDECO, to exhibit and present other regional artists.
He carries out numerous personalized orders for individuals and professionals: signs, menu holders , mirror, wall decoration, basin, coffee tables, shelves, clothing racks.
From 2020 he exhibits at the "CONCEPT BY L" boutique at the Tournamy roundabout in MOUGINS, the chic village of Cannes and only works to order.
