Appassionato di pittura sin da piccolo, ho iniziato a dipingere solo all'età di 25 anni da autodidatta sotto la guida di pittori amici di famiglia, in particolare del pittore Paolo Cammarata. Ma solo in tarda età, studiando le opere del 500, ho ripreso a dipingere giornalmente usando la tecnica dei grandi maestri: Caravaggio, Rubens, Leonardo ecc. Amo la pittura classica ma non disdegno di dipingere anche il moderno. Mi piace riprodurre opere del passato come il Bacco di Caravaggio, La dama con l'ermellino di Leonardo da Vinci, ma anche Carra, Picasso, George de Latour e altri.
