These works are of course dissimilar in composition, but the message of the painting is diametrically opposed to the message of Goya’s painting. The face of Goya's hero is not visible, the face of the hero of my painting is more than noticeable. His look is full of confidence. The cat looks forward towards his new goals. He sees no obstacles in his path. The monsters have no power over him, they look cartoonishly ephemeral. If you look into a cat's eyes, he will look back into your eyes with his penetrating gaze. I look at the picture as if in a mirror. It motivates me for everyday feats.
Born in 1986. In 2003 graduated from Theatrical-artistic college (now Dnipro art college), Painting department. In 2010 having completed the master's degree at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and having obtained a qualification of graphic designer, compiler, research assistant. From 2010 teacher of design, painting etc. (Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Dnipro art college,
University of Customs and Finance). From 2023 Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine. Participant of international illustration and photography competitions (Futura, Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, The Al-Thani award, Bienal internacional de ilustracao para a infancia). In 2000-10s he created designs for many books.
In his free time from work he is engaged in creativity - he paints pictures and draws graphics. Also writes experimental electronic music.
