The war was still far from over, so the town slept like the dead, especially in winter.
Only a bus with miners and an elderly woman who needed to go somewhere.
The weather was damp, and the air smelled of coal.

My photos show the exoticism of Eastern and Western Europe frozen in stasis.
All the photographs and characters have their own stories, full of incredible twists of fate, horrors of war, and expressions of love and hope.
Taking pictures for over 15 years.
I don't do staged photography, just real moments that I manage to capture on camera, no matter how big and noisy the camera is.
I continue to work with film, no matter what problems it causes in Ukraine, a country at war with russia.
Only film is able to notice and capture every detail of a moment in the way that it will be remembered. This is important for my communication.
