It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

My name is Vlad Gilgur and, as you could have guessed, I am an artist. I come from Yalta, the city on the Crimean Peninsula. For long periods of time I live in Moscow and St.Petersburg but I keep on loving Yalta with its subtropical climate, blue-green sea, white embankment and charming provinciality. One can say I am a hereditary artist.My father and grandfather were not professionals, but they loved art throughout their whole lives and from time to time practised painting. At the end of the 19th century the family I came from showed to the world such renowned personalities as artist Leo Gilgur who graduated from the Munich Academy of Arts and later worked in France, and composer and music theorist Joseph Shillinger, the well-known in the USA teacher of George Gershvin and Glenn Miller. Joseph Shillinger is best-known for his system of musical composition ( so called Shillinger system ). Talking about myself I was educated at the St.Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts( formerly the Imperial Fine Arts Academy founded in 1757 by Empress Elizabeth ). It's the oldest and largest art school in the country. I was a student of the Department of Easel Painting headed then by professor Vasily Sokolov who, unfortunately, is not with us any more. He always lived a busy dynamic life, was much loved by his students and died at the age of 98.In the Academy I studied painting and drawing, it's a classical art school with strong traditions.
