Vincent Villars is a contemporary painter based in Vietnam. He was inspired when he saw two travelers riding bicycles all the way from the Netherlands to the Vale of Kashmir. Villars began his journey on bicycle because it had always been a significant part of his life. He entered another universe; the experience was powerful; it took place in a different time frame. He began to perceive the world through a different gate while sketching, riding, and gradually becoming engaged in this new reality.
