Victor Rubanskiy was born in Lviv in 1967. He graduated The Ukrainian Academy of Printing in Lviv in 1996.

Victor is among the 100 of the best artists of Ukraine according to the version of the project "Contemporary Art of Ukraine of the Independence Period: 100 names". The paintings and etchings scattered all over the world and are stored in museums and private collections.

Victor's works have been exhibited in more than 50 exhibitions around the world in such countries as Japan, Canada, Spain, Yugoslavia, Norway, India, Belgium, Macedonia, Germany, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Sweden, Korea, Czech Republic etc.
