I began my artistic career in the eighties in the workshop of the renowned Uruguayan artist Alceu Ribeiro. After participating in various workshops learning different techniques, I began my solo journey to explore freely and define my own style.
My work has evolved from the figurative to the abstract, always in search of new paths.
Throughout my creative career I have been enjoying various jobs and functions, I have a degree in clinical psychology from the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain) practicing my profession for 15 years in my own clinic and collaborating with various psychology professionals. My last professional activity was as a manager at Mediben, a multidisciplinary clinic in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) where I am from and reside. I have enjoyed all these years of professional activity in which painting has always accompanied me in one way or another, with absences and reunions. Currently I dedicate myself exclusively to painting, participating in group exhibitions and public and private galleries. I work on commission for private clients as well as with various decorators and architects who are interested in my works for their professional projects.
I almost always begin my works spontaneously and intuitively, without questioning the process. My source of inspiration can be an image, a color, a memory, a music...
