Véronique Piquot alias Pico is a contemporary French sculptor. She sculpts the body in search of the soul that resides within. After spending so much time focusing on the tensions created by dance practice, the artist is now on the search for signs of abandonment that indicate fragility, surrender, or exhaustion. Piquot creates her portraits by studying the expressions on the faces of the subjects, as well as the furrows left by time, the traces of previous lives, and the optimism for the future.
Véronique Piquot was born in 1960, in France. She is a member of the committee of the Society of French Artists and a member of the Taylor Foundation.
