Evocation of dance, of love, of the couple in harmony, as well as of the movement created by feelings.
The characters are created in "bronze paper", see below. With bronze patina on a black background.
A lace design in 3D pen with black bio-filament creates an airy and transparent skirt. The wire is heated, to allow the very fine drawing, the drying makes the piece solid.
Black wooden base.
The sculpture is made of Paper-Bronze, using recycled materials, upcycling, over-cycling:
Recycled newspaper is glued to scrap metal rods, compressed and dried. The volumes of the sculpture acquire hardness and solidity. The subsequent patina gives it its metallic appearance, its changing color with bronze reflections. Trompe-l'oeil sculptures!
The theme of mobile and the need for lightness is at the origin of Vanessa Renoux's recycled paper creations. Indeed, the "paper-bronze" leads to freedom: of movement, of seating, of mixing materials (wood, metal, concrete). The sculptures are refined in slender or refined forms, inspired by Etruscan and Greek statuary and sculptors of the 20th century.
Lovers, loves, fusion, dance, flamenco, large lace skirt for this amorous sculpture.

Newsprint allows more freedom, gravity is less present, lightness and mobility are thus possible. His sculptures explore the attitudes of dance and movement, the animal sculptures are feline, refined and stylized (cats, bulls, horses...).
A trip to New York made him want to paint the city in watercolors. She likes to superimpose layers of paint, washes, to give relief and depth, mix colors, create blurs, depict cloudy atmospheres... She also paints the landscapes that surround her (Annecy, its lake, the countryside ) and the cities she visits.
Recently, his work inspired by Japanese Prints has enjoyed great success.
