Valérie Marty is a contemporary French sculptor. Her sculptures are a mirror, a stigmata, of inevitabilities: women with overly heavy feet that support a frail torso; narrow formed surrounded by two spiraling bunches, convey playfulness, as if life's challenges were the only thing that stood in their way. Her latest collection of comical birds are bestiary with plenty of humor.
