French artist born in Metz (1972). Currently lives and works in Metz. Self-taught, Vadim Korniloff exhibited for the first time in Beirut (Lebanon) in 2007, then in the following years in New York, Paris, Luxembourg, Germany, Russia, Denmark and Switzerland. In 2013, he was the initiator of the WCNational manifesto and project, exhibiting paintings in the toilets of around thirty restaurants in the city of Metz. A way of protesting against the hegemony of conceptual art of which the Duchampian urinal is the emblem. This action was supported by the curator of the Cour d'Or museum in Metz. He has also illustrated numerous works (novels, collections of poetry, essays). Winner of the Aralya-Artcité Prize 2019, Grand Baz'art Prize 2022 and City of Gisors Prize (Festival of Marginal Art) 2023
