It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Biographie
Jacques Trichet est né en 1955 en Vendée, au nord du marais poitevin.
Issu d'une famille ancrée dans le territoire, les paysages du marais seront sa première source d'inspiration et accompagneront sa pratique dans l'évolution de sa peinture.
Il travaille maintenant près de ce lieu dans la petite commune vendéenne de St Martin Lars.
Des études tronquées en biologie puis un passage à l'école normale n'ont pas satisfait ses besoins créatifs et c'est après un séjour au Mexique en 1978 où il découvre comme une révélation les dessins mayas, qu'il rencontre à son retour en France les artistes qui le confortent dans son choix de peindre et qui lui enseignent les techniques nécessaires.
Il enrichit sa culture artistique par des lectures, des visites d'expositions et des échanges avec d'autres peintres alors qu'il apprend à exprimer par la peinture la poésie qui semble l'habiter.
Trois peintres retiennent son attention et modestement il s'inscrit dans la continuité de cette trilogie.
Turner pour ses paysages qui parlent aux siens et pour son innovante créativité.
Zao Wou Ki pour l'alliance qui lui devient chère de l'orient et de l'occident.
Rothko pour la vibration qu'il reçoit de ses peintures.
Trois peintres en rupture dont il se sent artistiquement ou philosophiquement proche.
Entre la figuration de Turner, l'éblouissement de ses dernières toiles et l'abstraction de Zao Wou Ki et de Rothko, la peinture de Jacques Trichet prend corps.
Il fait le choix de la peinture à l'huile pour la souplesse, l'onctuosité du matériaux qui lui permet de rendre à la fois la douceur et la violence de la vie.
S'ajoute le pastel à l'huile pour des moments plus récréatifs où il retrouve la magie des paysages maraîchins.
En 2010 il s'engage dans une formation en psychologie transpersonnelle associée à une psychothérapie et se laisse découvrir par une spiritualité latente déjà contenue dans les paysages d'enfance et entendue dans les œuvres des trois peintres favoris.
Depuis méditation, yoga quotidiens et marches dans la nature, édifiantes et revigorantes nourrissent son inspiration.
Il refuse alors l'opposition entre figuration et abstraction et laisse ses pinceaux dessiner et peindre librement.
Des expositions personnelles ou de groupe l'amènent à voyager en France, en Europe et en Chine où il est membre honoraire de l'académie Cao Dong, un monastère de la région de Jiangxi.
