Né en 1982, cet altiligérien travaille et vit à Paris où il a passé en 2005 un diplôme d’architecte d’intérieur à l’ESAG Penninghen. Sa formation lui a permis de nourrir son expérience de l’espace, de la lumière ou de la couleur, désormais parties intégrantes de son travail .
Influencé par les aquarelles de son grand père et baigné par les jeux de lumière de la maison de son enfance, il utilise les silhouettes et les jeux d’ombres dès les cours d’art plastique du lycée.
Plus tard, les œuvres de Max Neumann ou les aquarelles de Joachim Bandau éclairent un peu plus son imaginaire.
Au centre de son travail, il y a l’ombre. Cette ombre présente partout mais dont personne ne se soucie.
Ses portraits sont des recherches formelles de « moi » chimériques. Sortes de silhouettes déstructurées mais qui restent caractéristiques de la personne peinte.
Jouer avec les ombres, les silhouettes. Les croiser, les superposer et créer!
