Architecte diplômé, titulaire d'un DEA d'Histoire et civilisations de l'EHESS à Paris, il réalise sa première grande exposition à 19 ans, un an après son baccalauréat option art plastiques. Après ses études, il a mené de front une activité artistique continue et une carrière d'urbaniste. Il se consacre désormais principalement à la création artistique.
Tout en revêtant au fil du temps des formes très diverses, ses réalisations ont en commun de toujours rechercher le jeu avec la lumière. Interessé depuis son adolescence par les textures, notamment celles que livrent les paysages de vignes et de champs de blé ou de tournesols, il est fasciné par l'incroyable force d'enchantement que leur apporte la lumière du soir ou du matin lorsqu'elle joue avec ces trames texturées, provoquant de vivantes moirures et ondulations. Il s'est finalement mis depuis quelque temps déjà à exploiter les fibres textiles de lin et de jute principalement, afin de créer des surfaces texturées qu'il met ensuite en couleurs, notamment par projections et brumisations de couleur liquide. C'est ainsi qu'il s'est construit peu à peu un monde très personnel où textures et couleurs se conjuguent pour chercher à donner vie à ces créations. Et leur aptitude singulière à réagir aux changements de lumière n'est pas le moindre de leur attrait.
