"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

This is my personal interpretation of the modern Mother and Child. The Mother is in blue, which is the color associated with Mary, the mother of Jesus. Blue, in the Old Testament, represented magnificense, mystery, and the divine. It is the color of the sky and as a result is viewed as a heavenly color. The mother’s face is turned away from social recognition becuase it is turned toward the baby. This gesture evokes her dedication to the well being of her child. The child’s face looking up to his mother with full surrender and deep trust. This connection epitomizes the most tender and nurturant of relationships.
Behind our main characters stretches a simplified background of the wheatfields, mountains and sky. This back drop of wheat signifies the biblical phrase “Man shall not live by bread alone”, but also with the love and caring that overflows from families to spread to all of God’s creatures.

As a painter, I am inspired by the diverse cultures and people on our planet. I also like to capture the beauty in the mundane objects and places. By exploring my personal and spiritual connection with nature through my interpretation of God's creation, I strive to create images that transport the viewers to a different state of mind. I want them to experience something new that they have not noticed in the past.
Utilizing both my illustrative instinct that I acquired through years of experience in Graphic Design and my modern stylistic technique, I am able to explore the art of painting to achieve a sense of self-fulfillment. My style and my love of color give me a sense of freedom and joy in creating, which, in turn achieve a sense of motion and emotion in my work.
Armed with the design elements of line, shape, color, contrast. value, balance and texture, I particularly like to experiment with different materials like fine sand, burlap, sinamay fabric (woven in the Philippines), rice grains and paper to accomplish a richness in texture or to evoke depth. My repertoire of tools include, but not limited to brush, palette knife, toothbrush, sponge, opaque and thinning mediums, wet on wet and glazing. Different mediums allow me to express different ideas in a unique and personal way. Each and every single piece contains a fragment of myself, created in an effort to unearth myself or sometimes even heal myself.
I strive to make my paintings speak out their innermost depth, conveying the message of healing energy and hope.
