As a disabled veteran who served as a bomb disposal technician, I've found painting to be a profound source of therapy and expression. My journey has been marked by both physical wounds and invisible scars, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stemming from an explosion during combat.

For me, painting serves as a lifeline, allowing me to articulate the complex emotions that often elude words. Unable to fully verbalize the depth of my experiences, I turn to color, form, and texture to convey the raw intensity of my inner struggles and triumphs.

Drawing from a diverse palette of artistic styles, my work transcends traditional boundaries, reflecting the multifaceted nature of human emotion. Each painting is a journey into my psyche, offering viewers a glimpse into the depths of my trauma, resilience, and ongoing journey toward healing.

Through my art, I aim to evoke a spectrum of emotions, from sorrow and anguish to hope and resilience. I believe that art has the power to bridge divides, fostering empathy and understanding among diverse audiences.
