My work is above all spiritual and psychoanalytic. It is an 'Auto-psy', a dissection of the mind, a spiritual vivisection. I like to bring rigor and surgical precision to my work, mixing elegance with the macabre, refinement in a universe that is both lugubrious and luminous. It is a work of composition and decomposition, a work with 'pre-Meditation'.
I explore three areas in particular; The portrait that fascinates me by what it can convey in a look or an attitude. Scenes imbued with spirituality evoking romantic stories.
Fascinated by death and the fear it can arouse, my third area of predilection, the one that I particularly like, is a work around the skinned that I call "Decrepitude" making this repulsive subject an elegant and delicate work translating through evocative forms, a pain, a feeling, a bodily sensation, an illness...
