This photograph captures the amazing mingling of creations in nature and man-made structures. It's beautiful how this stairwell of metal provided the perfect place for a spider to make its delicate web. This photograph captures the amazing mingling of creations in nature and man-made structures. It's beautiful how this stairwell of metal provided the perfect place for a spider to make its delicate web. I would have passed this web by, as it was in a very inconspicuous place low to the ground. Though it was worn and broken in places, the shiny surface caught my eye as I passed by. As I knelt down and watched it bounce back and forth in the wind, the total picture came into view. I was able to create a bokeh effect here, which made the subject stand out and brought the colors out beautifully. Notice the web is positioned perfectly between the foreground and background poles. I love this capture. It really is the essence of the season.
