Growing up in a multi-generational carpentry family. The smell of wood has permeated the body since it was still in the mother's womb. Thang had the opportunity to come into contact with many different types of precious wood through his father's work. 

With an unwavering passion for the environment and a profound appreciation for the stories embedded within the ancient driftwood, Thang and his friends meticulously selects, cleans and repurposes each piece, uncovering the hidden beauty that decades or even centuries of weathering have bestowed upon them. Their commitment to the preservation of nature's narrative is reflected ini the thorough cleaning process, revealing the intricate textures, twists, and turns that characterise each fragment.

His art serves as a bridge between the past and the present, inviting contemplation on the cycles of life and the enduring beauty found in the most  unexpected places.
