Gouache

The substances are diluted with water and rendered pasty and opaque by the addition of gum and honey. The colors become opaque and can, therefore, be superimposed, which makes one paint with gouache as with oil. The gouache is recommended by its bright, fresh and delicate tones.

Acrylic

Paint using traditional pigments mixed with synthetic resins.

Watercolor

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor. Watercolor paintings are considered to be a unique way to creatively represent dreams, illusions, emotions and luminous feelings using water soluble pigments. However, painting with watercolors can be difficult. It's a difficult medium to master, in large part because it can be ruthless and unpredictable. Mistakes are difficult to correct and its fluid nature makes it difficult to control. Yet it is these very qualities that give the medium its undeniable charm.

My name is Tetyana Chorna and I am a professional artist hailing from Ukraine, where I both live and work. It is my absolute pleasure to present to you my space-gallery of original and cheerful author's paintings. This virtual haven offers a glimpse into my creative world, where I share my results in the fine arts of painting and graphics through a range of mediums including photos, videos, written paintings, and stories.

My journey into the arts began at the tender age of 12 when I first fell in love with the craft, and since then I have dedicated myself to honing my skills and knowledge in the field. Over the years, I have undergone extensive study and practice, completing four years of education at the Khotyn Art School, another four at the Vyzhnytskyi College of Applied Arts, and finally five and a half years at the prestigious Lviv Academy of Printing. These invaluable experiences have allowed me to hone my abilities and develop a unique style that is truly my own.

Since 2017, I have been passionately working in the field of fine and graphic arts, and have had the honor of exhibiting my work alongside other talented artists. I am a firm believer that art has the power to inspire and unite people from all walks of life, and I warmly invite you to become a part of my creative community.
