It was while driving one rainy day, early in the morning returning from the workshop that this work was born. Inside the car, like in an imaginary bubble, I wanted to reflect this sensation, in a constrained space, of floating in cotton. This in between a night of work and sleep. Around, the dull sound of the windshield wipers, of the rain, of the puddles over which I drive, and sometimes like an echo the sound of the turn signals. with the artists: Silva Usta, Svetà Marlier, René Galassi, Eve Carton Everson, Jacky ANANOU, Khaled Youssef, Mélanie Bouillaud (Mel Bld), Samantha Iosca, Tehos, will highlight the richness of Mediterranean culture while emphasizing eco-responsibility.

This exceptional event will be held at the Prince Jacques Cultural Center from June 21 to July 27, offering visitors an immersive experience at the heart of virtual worlds. Get ready to be transported to a unique artistic universe!

Tehos is a multi-talented artist who explores a variety of artistic techniques, constantly pushing the boundaries of contemporary art. From collage to painting, from photography to video, he creates inclusive and engaging works in virtual worlds.

Beyond the simple aesthetic value, he is particularly attracted by the links between language and art, thus offering a unique perspective to his creations. His work has been exhibited in many countries and has won the admiration of prestigious media. In 2020, he caused a sensation by exhibiting his works of double heads on more than 1000 screens, including several giant screens, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The retrospective exhibition presents an innovative concept. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the Tehos art lab on Second Life through a captivating animated film and an immersive virtual tour. You will be immersed in the heart of his creative process and will be able to explore in detail his selected photographs, accompanied by detailed explanations.The screening of two films from the Tehos art lab, "The immersive suspensions" and "The kinetic trees", will offer a captivating visual experience.

He also wishes to collaborate with visual arts students to create a dialogue between young artists and his artistic universe. A similar experiment has already been successfully carried out at the Lycée Albert Premier in Monaco, where each student was able to produce a real work and benefit from a virtual exhibition on Second Life.

Tehos - Laughter as artistic performance - We don't laugh... in a closed room, projected onto a wall, on a loop... why not? is it art? I don't know, I think so. After all, art is a variable geometry convention depending on the era. In our time, everyone is sulking, wars, crises, epidemics, fear. Still the fear, of the weather, of the heat, of the water, of the rain that will fall...... So for what we have left to live, let's laugh a little, let's laugh to have the chance to be aware of existing, of thinking, of breathing. Let's laugh because one day, we won't be here anymore.
