It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

The iconic and expansive views of Yosemite Valley from the overlook with granite monoliths as a backdrop, is the stunning first view upon exiting the long and dark tunnel.
Suddenly an epic view appears, a breathtaking valley with magical waterfalls spilling off dramatic granite wall. I was inspired to transfer my feelings of awe and grandeur onto the canvas, to create the painting of this incredible scene. The view looks eastward into Yosemite Valley, and includes surrounding features, such as the southwest face of El Capitan on the left, Half Dome on axis, and Bridal Veil Falls on the right.
This is an Oil painting on Old Holland stretched linen canvas. Old Holland canvases are made exclusively from Claessens Linen, crafted from woven natural flax from Belgium. These canvases feature Claessens revered traditional oil priming, hand-stretched on professional quality European stretchers. They are back stapled to maintain clean edges for frameless gallery presentation.
The painting is unframed, wired in the back on the stretcher-bars, and ready to hang without a frame.
