Tatiana Karchevskaya is a contemporary Dutch painter who finds beauty in every corner of the world and aims to amplify it through her art. Her mission is to bring more beauty to the world, creating vibrant, colorful, and joyful new realms through her paintings. Inspired by nature, music, and the masterpieces of past artists, Karchevskaya finds endless sources of creativity in flowers, animals, and the ordinary objects of daily life.

One of her significant inspirations is the theme of "ruinisation," where she finds profound beauty in aging and decay. In her paintings, even a rusty kettle tells a story of life, from its creation and the warmth of gatherings to the inevitable passage of time, reflecting the cycle of human existence. She believes that aging has its own charm, which she seeks to highlight in her art.

Karchevskaya’s work combines classic and naive styles, using both oil and acrylic paint on canvas and paper. As a trained interior designer, she is particularly attentive to color and considers how her art will complement interior spaces. Currently, she is working on a series titled "Painting for a Loft," which explores the theme of ruinisation, a concept she feels perfectly suits the aesthetic of loft interiors. Her work focuses on the simplification of form, allowing color to take center stage, a testament to her identity as a colorist.
