"Avise La Fin" is the Scottish Kennedy Clan motto and is Latin for, "Consider the End".

The Kennedy Clan crest is shown above with the dolphin. Every Scottish Clan has their own crest/badge and their own motto. The Kennedy Clan family originated from Ulster and are descended from Duncan of Carrick who lived in the 12th Century.

My last name is Carrick, and the Scottish Carrick Clan is a sept under the Kennedy Clan.

The reference picture was of a metal badge pin and taken by me. This drawing took two tries and over 40 hours to complete due to all the detail work and the multitude of different values.
