Svetlana Sokolovskaya is a cosmopolitan artist, born 1964 in Berlin, Germany. She studied at the Moscow University of Arts, at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts, Faculty of Painting. Since 2006, he has been living in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.

Since 2022, she has opened a personal house-museum "Intimate Art"

Intimate Art is a conceptual direction in contemporary   painting. The characteristic features are realistic images of a person's intimate experience in the postmodern interpretation of compositional and coloristic techniques in a positive and humorous sense.
