Born in Lodi the 18-2-1957,attended the Liceo Artistico , the Accademia di belle Arti in Brera,,the Scuola serale del Castello Sforzesco in Milan and the Accademia for Vedic Art in San Casciano in val di Pesa near Florence, where I restored a 15 century villa, designed the stained glass windows and floor for the Radha Krishna temple, beside, illustrations for the Vedic books as Bhagavata Purana and Chaitanya Charitamrita
Between the 70’s and the middle 80’s I exhibited my works in Italy, included Studio Panigati in Milan where I collaborated as Art director. During that time I received critiques from the late Dino Villani and Mario Monteverdi which included my name in his Dizionario degli Artisti Italiani.
In’ 86, I came to India with the hope of finding an answer to my spiritual questions and I fell in love with the colors of people and places of this wonderful part of the world which now are the main subjects for my Art.
My techniques are ,drawings, water colors, pastels, oil on canvas and so on, but not only, as I consider Art a constant research and experimentation, now, Digital Art too is included between my mediums as I consider it the new Artist palette of the 21th century.
My subjects are of three different nature. The figurative, where I portray mostly every day people and their environment. The esoteric, which portrays my thoughts, moods or inner self and the Spiritual, where instead, I become the servant of the topic or concept.
Even though I live in the Indian subcontinent, being a member of the Federazione Artisti Italiani has given me the opportunity to exibit in Italy and abroad, for instance ,the Carousel du Louvre in Paris and the upcoming Trofeo citta’ di New York. where I’ve already won an award for Figurative Art..I would like to mention that also my Digital Art has won me an award at the Trofeo di capodanno in Turin.
