Stéphanie Cerdeira, a contemporary French artist, has been immersed in the world of drawing and painting since her early childhood. Opting for professional training initially, she gravitated towards art crafts, fostering a deep connection with nature. Following this, she embarked on a journey of exploration through travel for several years.

Upon her return, Cerdeira pursued her passion for the arts by undertaking competitive exams to gain entry into preparatory arts classes. Subsequently, she competed for access to Fine Arts training, where she dedicated three years to honing her craft. Seeking to broaden her artistic horizons, she furthered her education by enrolling in theoretical courses in contemporary plastic practices at the University of Montpellier.

Presently, Cerdeira imparts her knowledge and expertise by teaching practical courses and art history classes across various educational institutions and associative structures. Her artistic endeavors are characterized by themes of skins and bark, folds and clothing, as well as the exploration of the body and its relationship to the intangible. Through her work, Cerdeira seeks to delve into the complexities of existence and the intricate interplay between form and essence.
