Stanislaw Wysocki is a contemporary Polish sculptor. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań and later at the Hochschule der Kunste in Berlin, in the studio of prof. J.H. Lonas. During his studies in West Berlin, he worked as an apprentice in the Hermann Noack sculpture foundry, where he met many world-renowned sculptors, among others Henry Moore.
His major works are: “Powodzianka” in Wrocław; “Siberian Cross” in the church of Redemptorists in Wrocław; The figure of "Negro" standing on the building at Solny in Wrocław; Monument to Marshal Józef Piłsudski in Lubin; Monument of Pope John Paul II in Wrocław at the Church of St. Maurice.
Stanislaw Wysocki was born in 1949, in Poland. Wysocki exhibited his works in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, UK, Turkey and Poland.
