Vlad Soltan

Born 1974. Began painting at an early age, graduating from Moldova Animation and Film School in Chisinau and continued specialization in art in Iasi, Romania. One of the new and upcoming art talents arriving from Europe. His paintings are a blending of many styles such as cubism and impressionism with a surreal interaction which only Soltan can produce. Soltan is a new force to be “reckoned with” in the modern art scene. While his paintings are widely sold and distributed throughout Europe and the Former Soviet Republics, Soltan’s paintings are just beginning to hit the shores of North America. Dan Hatmanu, teacher and mentor of Soltan and arguably the most famous Moldavian painter of the Century said: “Vlad is the most talented of all my pupils” Art critic Jorge Sori of Sori Fine Art said of Soltan: “He is powerful and brutal with his strokes a wonderful colorist with great range and balance”. Over the past ten years Soltan has dedicated himself to “export his artistic spirit”as evidenced by his popularity among modern art collectors worldwide. Soltan has won many art exposition awards including The1st Prize at The National Art Competition in Bacau, Romania.
