Serhii Brylov "The Magic Flounder" Beginning of Work on the Sculpture "The Magic Flounder": Armature, Form Building. The Magic Flounder is a symbol of desire that fulfills human whims while simultaneously reminding us of the responsibility behind our choices. It embodies temptation, greed, and the consequences of unrestrained pursuit of power and material wealth. Its image philosophically reflects the theme of moral choice and the internal balance between humility and egoism. This creature appears to offer freedom, yet in truth, it tests the human spirit, revealing its weaknesses. As a dweller of the ocean depths, the flounder also carries an ecological meaning — a force of nature capable of intervening when harmony is disrupted. It serves as a metaphor for spiritual transformation, an archetype of the magical mediator between what is desired and what is real, resonating through fairy tales and myths across various cultures. The sculpture depicts it not merely as a fish, but as an allegorical being — a bearer of deep wisdom and a challenge to the human soul.

Serhii Brylov "The Court of Justice of King Solomon" Solomon's judgment is a biblical story about how King Solomon judged two women who were arguing over a child. History has become a model of testimony of wisdom. The story of Solomon's judgment is told in the First Book of Kings: 3-16:28. In an arbitrary narration, it looks like this: Once Solomon was sitting on the throne and two women approached him. One had a dead child, and the other had a live child. The king ordered that the child be cut in two and given to them. The first said: "Cut it so that neither she nor I get it," and the second said to give the child to the first woman. Serhii Brylov "Space and time" The sculpture "Space and Time" symbolizes the inseparable unity of these two fundamental forms of existence of matter. She emphasizes that space and time do not exist independently, outside of matter that moves and changes. The sculpture reflects the idea that space is a form of existence of matter that characterizes its length and structure, and time is a form that expresses the duration of existence and the sequence of changes in the states of matter. These concepts are interconnected and manifest in the movement and development of material systems. The artwork emphasizes humanity's deep desire to understand the essence of space and time as reflected in culture and science, including references in ancient texts such as the Ramayana.

Serhii Brylov "Lion", plasticine, H-22 cm.Lion (lat. Panthera leo) is a species of predatory mammal, one of the five representatives of the genus Panthera, which belongs to the subfamily of big cats (Pantherinae) of the cat family (Felidae). Lions are carnivorous mammals and live in family groups, so-called prides. A pride consists of one to three males, several sexually mature females and lion cubs. Females hunt for the pride, and males protect the territory. The lion is called the "king of beasts." He is a traditional symbol of courage and power, embodying the power of the Sun and fire. In heraldry, the lion symbolizes royal dignity and nobility. In Scythian mythology, there is a griffin, that is, a lion with wings. In Egyptian, it is a symbol of divine power and royal dignity. "Stand like lions, for each other and hold on," advises the author of Veles's book. The name Leo bears one zodiacal constellation. The radiant of the Leonid meteor shower is also located in this constellation, which can be observed on November 17-18 and make a wish. In early Christian art, the lion symbolized the evangelist Mark, Saint Jerome, and even Jesus Christ himself.Лев (лат. Panthera leo) — вид хижих ссавців, один із п'яти представників роду Panthera, що належить до підродини великих котячих (Pantherinae) сімейства котячих (Felidae).
