"Catharsism"
Style is a reflection of the need for constant self-perfection and development, the need to fill empty spaces and voids within, because this is the only way to become a selfsustained individual. The process of self-improvement is constant and infinite. This is what makes it so beautiful and engaging. Therefore, this is the focus point in life for all of us! This theme is very important and fascinating for me. That is why, I explore it through my creativity and my paintings.
There is not a single painting in this series that I would approach in the same way as the previous one. I always experimented and each time achieved something fresh, so every piece taught me something new. By doing so, my mistakes made me progress further and submerge deeper into the atmosphere of my creations. That is why, working on this series has also become a meditative process for me.

Sergey Lutsenko is a contemporary Ukrainian painter. He paints in a variety of styles, including realism, impressionism, abstract art, and surrealism. Fusion is a new painting style he discovered. Fusion is a style defined by the "mixing of incompatible", it brings together seemingly disparate concepts from supposedly incompatible styles while maintaining a sense of wholeness and harmony.
Realism and abstract art are two styles which complement each other by blending into one – fusion. It is a free synthesis of color and form. A smooth and subtle transition from something abstract and surreal into something realistic is the peculiarity of this style.
