“Figuralist” painter Jean-Claude Sellès Brotons is a recognized painter. Matignon Galleries in Chicago (USA) permanently welcomes his paintings. Inspector in an Oil Company, writer, journalist - talented photographer and ornithologist, he finds his full expression in painting.

After some regional successes, during his first participations in competitions, he attempted the great adventure and produced numerous exhibitions where he achieved great success. His works are very popular. A lover of nature and animals, he tries to convey the image as he sees it, with its often warm colors, like the autumn that he appreciates.

Member of the Society of Friends of the Arts of Pau, he exhibits in Chicago (USA) but also at the Museum of Fine Arts of Pau, at the Pavillon des Arts and at the International Fair of Pau as well as in the salons of the Lieutenant du Roy in Navarrenx, among others. We find some of his works on the walls of Beaugency France, Bordeaux, Limoux, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Pau, etc... but also on those of Chicago (USA) by Thursley Surrey, London (England), Ste-Lucie-des-Laurentides, Montreal (Quebec), Venice (Italy) etc...
