Scalp, a multidisciplinary artist, expresses himself through two distinct mediums, photography and drawing, offering a rich and captivating artistic perspective.
As a photographer, Scalp is notable for his black and white portraits of women. In these works, he explores the violence inherent in our society. He seeks to provoke an immediate reaction in the viewer, by creating disturbing and disturbing images. However, beyond this first impression, Scalp invites the viewer to delve deeper into each photograph, where the unalterable sensuality of the woman is revealed. He plays with contrasts, shadows and light to create powerful visual compositions that arouse emotion and reflection.
At the same time, Scalp devotes himself to drawing with charcoal and graphite. His favorite subjects are cinema, literature and childhood memories. Through his drawn works, he explores the sufferings, joys and dreams of childhood, thus creating a dialogue between the worlds of art and memory. His drawings are imbued with a deep sensitivity and technical mastery which give them a moving authenticity.
Scalp, through its unique artistic approach, pushes the viewer to reflect on crucial questions in contemporary society and to delve into intimate childhood memories. His artistic work reflects his passion for exploring human emotions and his desire to evoke profound reactions in those who contemplate his works.
