Sarah Agathe Salomon is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans a wide range of artistic practices, from painting (acrylic, oil, ink, watercolor) to collage, including drawing (pastel, chalk, charcoal, blood ...), pyrography (on wood, glass...), sculpture, video, sound and performance, photography (film and digital), sewing, tattooing, scenography and product design.
For Sarah Agathe Salomon, art is a noble characteristic to cultivate, because it is the best way to connect with the public. She believes that artistic encounters are made possible by difference, and that it is this difference that arouses public interest and engagement. She often explores pointillism in her works, considering that this technique allows to translate sensitivity, aggressiveness, sensuality and precision. Listed at the Maison des Artistes and the ADAGP, Sarah Agathe Salomon received Exceptional Creative Assistance in 2017 from the Department of Cultural Affairs of Martinique. Her academic background includes a Master 1 in Art Therapy and a Master 1 in Fashion Design/Model Design/Couture. She also obtained a Master 2 in Visual Arts at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bi-Master 1 in Psychology at the University of Vincennes Paris VIII. His training also includes a preparatory year for applied arts at ESAT HOURDE.
Sarah Agathe Salomon began her journey as a professional artist in 2006, registering with the Maison des Artistes and the ADAGP. Since then, she has participated in numerous exhibitions in France, Martinique, and internationally, notably in Paris, Berlin, Monaco, and La Baule. Her diverse artistic work continues to explore the richness of artistic expression through a variety of media and techniques, while engaging the public in reflection on identity, difference and artistic encounter.
